Our award-winning Web Services group is adding a Web Application Specialist to develop web-based applications. Working with a project team and clients, you will build applications, databases, and
websites, and provide ongoing technical support for web servers, database servers and website hosting.
You will be programming web applications for websites using ASP.NET, XML, SQL Server, HTML, JavaScript, cascading stylesheets, and Active Server Pages. You will create robust, secure, and useable
web applications. Occasionally, you will integrate our graphic artists* designs with client content and custom-built applications. You will assist in the support and maintenance of LRS
websites.
You will interact with clients, project managers, account representatives, and your manager to identify, estimate and implement web-based solutions both before and after the sale.
You will assist in the support of websites for our company and our clients. Every six or seven weeks, you will carry a pager. During these weeks, you will check for server updates. If updates are
necessary, you will complete them on a Thursday from 5:00 * 6:00 pm. The actual time you respond to off-hour calls averages less than one hour per month. We are proud of our 99.7% hosting
environment uptime and your on-call rotation will help us maintain that uptime.
You will be based in our Springfield, Illinois office. This position may require a very limited amount of travel within Illinois and the United States.

Your compensation will consist of a base salary plus paid overtime.
